Class 2 HGV Driver (Temporary)
Location: Derry
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
- Friday: 07:30 - 16:00
- Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established and values-led business in Derry on a temporary basis.
This is a key role where you will act as a frontline representative of the branch, delivering products safely, efficiently, and with pride to both residential and commercial customers. As part of a multi-drop delivery operation, you will play an essential part in ensuring a first-class service experience every time.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out safe, timely, and accurate multi-drop deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed "on time, in full"
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and adhere to all safety and legal requirements
- Load and secure goods safely, supporting yard operations when required
- Work collaboratively with the branch team to maximise efficiency
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally
What We're Looking For- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
- Full CPC and Tacho Card compliance
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory standards
- A professional attitude with pride in your work
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Not Essential- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- FLT experience (with or without a current licence
