HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative

Manpower are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established safety fencing depot based in Tormarton, Bristol.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving and yard duties, ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, physical tasks, and being part of a busy operational team.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Completing local collections and deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out general yard duties and depot maintenance
• Assisting with stock control and organising materials
• Operating plant and machinery (training provided where required)
• Ensuring the yard is kept safe, clean, and well maintained
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Supporting the wider depot team as needed

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Holds a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
• Has an understanding of health & safety procedures
• Yard, warehouse, or logistics experience (desirable)
