Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative

£16.00 per hour | Temp to Perm | Full-Time

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a leading safety fencing company for a HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative based in Tormarton, Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver looking for a varied role that combines driving with hands-on yard duties. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a busy team, and want a long-term opportunity with full training, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing local deliveries and collections using a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out general yard duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Assisting with stock control and organising materials.
• Operating plant and yard equipment (full training provided where required).
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Supporting the wider depot team with day-to-day operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Previous yard, warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous but not essential.
