| Salary £50/60k Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for upskilling and salary progression. ------------------------- Benefits - 25 days holiday + bank holidays (plus loyalty increases) - Overtime: 1.5x until 10pm, then 2x - Travel: First 30 minutes each way unpaid (door-to-door for call-outs) - Call-out rota: 1 in 6 (£140 standby) - Optional overnight OOH work (day off in lieu) - Company van & fuel card (personal use option available) - Medical cover & Employee Assistance Programme - Critical illness & death in service cover - Sick pay scheme (after qualifying period) - Cycle to Work scheme ------------------------- About the Role Working as part of a regional team, you will deliver installation, maintenance, and repair services across commercial gas and heating systems. You will act as a key customer-facing engineer, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with company standards. ------------------------- Key Responsibilities - Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas appliances and plant equipment - Diagnose faults and attend emergency call-outs (including out-of-hours) - Carry out installations and system upgrades - Provide technical advice to clients on asset management and replacements - Support quotations by providing accurate job data (parts, labour, timelines) - Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures - Act as a technical specialist within your team ------------------------- Requirements - Current ACS / Commercial Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered) - Experience in commercial heating and mechanical services - Full UK driving licence - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work independently and within a team - IT literate (basic Microsoft Office) - Willingness to participate in call-out rota ------------------------- Additional Information - DBS check required due to client environments - Equal opportunities employer |
