We are recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client who are a successful commercial vehicle dealership and premium brand across Vans & Trucks.

You will carry out mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics on vehicles to a high standard.

Working hours consist of a 3 week rota: 2 weeks of day shift followed by 1 week of evenings Mon to Thurs and 1 Saturday every 3 weeks.

The Role

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles, vans or trucks
• Fault finding and diagnostics, resolving faults quickly and efficiently
• Complete job cards and relevant paperwork accurately
• Work with service and parts team to plan and communicate repairs needed
• Carry out mechanical work safely and to a high standard
• Provide technical advice when required and provide excellent service to customers
• Support with development of apprentices

What we are looking for

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Mechanic (Light OR Heavy Vehicle Repair)
• Mechanical experience working on Vans or Trucks
• Experience with fault finding and diagnostics
• Can work efficiently and quickly to a high standard
