Job Description |
Role: Occupational Therapist - to start ASAP Salary: £34.31 per hour umbrella Location: Kendal, Sedbergh, wider South Lakes area, and occasional support into Penrith if required. Job Type: Contract - initally 3 months, with likely extention until perm psot is filled Shifts: Mon - Fri, 37 hours a week. Flexible approach; however, ideally minimum 3 days office/community-based to support team collaboration and service delivery. Benefits: Supportive, experienced, and welcoming team. Key responsibilities: * Functional Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. * Intervention Planning: Design and implement individualised treatment programmes. * Rehabilitation: Support recovery through therapeutic activities, equipment, and adaptations. * Education: Provide guidance to patients, families, and carers. * Community Integration: Assist patients in returning to work, school, or daily life. * Documentation: Keep accurate records of assessments and interventions.
