| Contracts Manager – Civil Engineering South West | Bristol Region £65,000–£70,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Benefits An established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen its regional delivery team across the South West. This is a senior operational position overseeing a portfolio of highways and civil engineering schemes, with responsibility for multiple project teams and the successful delivery of works from pre-construction through to completion. The role offers a good mix of operational leadership, client management and business development, working closely with project, commercial and pre-construction teams across a strong pipeline of regional work. The Role As Contracts Manager, you will: - Oversee multiple civil engineering projects across the region - Lead and support Project Managers and site delivery teams - Take responsibility for programme, quality, safety and overall project performance - Work closely with commercial, planning and pre-construction teams - Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners - Support tendering and future work-winning opportunities - Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures where required - Identify opportunities for continued growth across existing and future projects - Drive best practice and continuous improvement across delivery teams About You We are looking for someone with: - Proven senior management experience within civil engineering, highways or infrastructure - Experience overseeing multiple projects and delivery teams - Strong operational and commercial awareness - Experience working within framework or repeat-client environments - Good knowledge of NEC contracts - Excellent leadership and client-facing skills - SMSTS - Full UK driving licence Applications are welcomed from established Contracts Managers, as well as experienced Senior Project Managers who can demonstrate they are ready to take the next step.
