Supply Desk are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors based in Sittingbourne or nearby to join our partner schools in the Swale area. We are seeking confident and adaptable professionals to cover lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects.

If you have previous experience in schools, are reliable, flexible, and open to exploring different schools across Swale, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students’ learning in the absence of their usual teacher. You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their studies. Your ability to adapt to different schools and classrooms will help you thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Delivery: Confidently lead pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a variety of subjects.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, focused, and productive learning environment.
• Pupil Engagement: Encourage students to stay on task and complete work to a high standard.
• Flexibility: Be prepared to adapt your approach to meet the needs of different schools and classes.
• Reliability: Consistently provide excellent support to schools and uphold a positive, professional attitude.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced Cover Supervisors: Previous experience in schools is essential, ideally with Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Strong Classroom Management Skills: Confident in handling a variety of classroom settings and behaviour situations.
• Adaptability: Comfortable covering a range of subjects and schools across Swale.
• Reliability & Professionalism: A dependable and professional individual with a proactive attitude.
• DBS & References: A valid DBS and two professional references are required.
