| A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Childrens Home Manager to join a well-established, family-oriented care provider. This organisation is committed to providing high-quality residential care and support to children and young people, ensuring their needs are met in a safe, nurturing environment. As Deputy Childrens Home Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring your team, stepping into the manager`s role in their absence, and making a positive impact on the lives of the children in your care. This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of ?34,590 - ?36,670 and benefits. They would consider team leaders and senior level candidates as well. You will be responsible for: * Oversee day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. * Lead by example, providing guidance and support to your team. * Act as the point of contact in the manager`s absence, ensuring the smooth running of the home. * Foster a positive environment for children with complex needs and challenging behaviour. * Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing regular feedback and support. * Assist with safeguarding and ensuring all regulatory standards are met. What we are looking for: * Previously worked as a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Childcare Manager, Care Manager, Home Manager or in a similar role. * Knowledge of emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex / challenging behaviours. * NVQ Level 3 or above in Children and Young People (or equivalent). * A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and safeguarding. * A current UK Driving Licence.
