Job Title: Design and Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Pay: £130 – £350 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to work in secondary schools across Eastbourne. Whether you're an experienced DT teacher or an ECT, we have a variety of flexible roles to suit your availability and career goals. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Teach across DT specialisms including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology (depending on your expertise)
- Ensure safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a productive learning environment
- Support students in building practical skills and creative thinking
- Collaborate with department colleagues to plan and assess student progress
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a DT specialism
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety in a workshop or DT environment
- A current, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
