| Electrical Design Engineer £45,000 to £55,000 London (Hybrid) The Opportunity A leading building services engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled and ambitious Electrical Engineer to join its London team. The business delivers technically excellent, low energy and sustainable building services solutions across a wide-ranging portfolio, including education, healthcare, commercial, laboratory, residential and heritage projects. Salary Package - Competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000 - Private healthcare - Workplace pension scheme - Hybrid working and flexible arrangements - A supportive culture focused on development and wellbeing - Genuine opportunities for career progression and professional achievement Responsibilities - Develop electrical designs from concept through to detailed stages, covering power, lighting, communications, security systems and low energy solutions - Carry out site inspections and surveys, producing accurate reports, specifications and design documentation - Attend and contribute to client and design team meetings, supporting strong project delivery and client satisfaction - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams that value sustainability, innovation and best practice - This position is particularly suited to someone seeking guidance and development, with a clear pathway towards Senior Engineer level. Ideal Requirements - A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a closely related discipline - At least four years of relevant experience in electrical building services design or consultancy - Experience using Revit, BIM workflows or similar design software (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided) - Strong technical ability, clear communication skills and confidence working with clients and colleagues - A genuine interest in sustainable design and delivering high quality outcomes About the Company This is an established, values-driven engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for technical excellence, low energy design and long-term client relationships. The London office consists of around 15 staff and forms part of a wider UK team of approximately 85 professionals.
