Electronics Engineer – PCB Design Specialist High Wycombe £35,000 – £50,000 Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (Office-based) – Hybrid available after 6-month probation Are you an Electronics Engineer with strong expertise in PCB layout and electronic circuit design? We’re looking for a skilled engineer to join our High Wycombe team, where you’ll play a key role in developing innovative, high-performance products. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your technical knowledge will directly influence product design and performance. Your Role - Designing and developing PCBs and electronic circuits for new and existing products - Creating schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring designs meet functionality, reliability, and cost requirements - Selecting electronic components and ensuring compliance with EMC and LVD regulations - Conducting prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis - Producing technical documentation including wiring diagrams, test specifications, and reports - Working closely with engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate hardware solutions - Supporting manufacturing partners to maintain product quality and resolve design-related issues - Providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge across teams About You - 3–5 years’ experience in electronics design and development - Strong PCB design and layout expertise, with hands-on experience in schematic capture and board-level design - Solid understanding of electronic circuit design principles - Good working knowledge of EMC/LVD standards and design for compliance - Proficient with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or similar) - Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills - Clear communicator with excellent teamwork abilities - Experience with lighting control systems (advantageous but not essential) What’s on Offer - Competitive salary between £35,000 – £50,000 - 35-hour working week - 25 days holiday allowance - Vitality healthcare and life insurance - Paid overtime - Pension scheme - Free healthy office snacks - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities If you’re ready to apply your PCB design and electronic circuit expertise in a forward-thinking company that values innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence, we’d love to hear from you. |
