English Teacher – Maidstone

Ready to bring Shakespeare to life, champion literacy, and inspire the next generation of writers? Our partner school in the Maidstone area is seeking a dynamic English Teacher who knows their metaphors from their motifs and can sprinkle a little magic into every lesson.

Contract: Full time from October half term until Christmas holidays

Salary: £168 - £232 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 & KS4 pupils
• Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure positive outcomes
• Foster a love of literature, poetry, and language in the classroom
• Maintain discipline and encourage positive behaviour for learning
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for English
• Experience teaching English in secondary schools preferred
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A sense of humour and a spark of creativity
