Position: English Teacher
Location: Salisbury
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (until July 2026)
Pay Range: £165 – £250 per day
Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm


About the Role

We are seeking a English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Salisbury from January 2026 on a long-term contract until July 2026. You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a stable and experienced department in an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students, contribute to a thriving English team, and be part of a school that values creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate learners
  • Mark, assess, and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations
  • Work collaboratively with the English department to share ideas and best practice
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular and enrichment activities
