| Environmental Advisor (Consents) Midlands (Birmingham / site-based) Circa £50,000 + package I’m currently supporting a major infrastructure contractor on one of the UK’s most high-profile projects, with multiple opportunities available for exerienced Environmental Advisors to join a growing team in the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large-scale, complex programme of works, offering long-term career progression and exposure to major civil engineering delivery. The Role Working as part of an established environmental team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance across live construction sites, with a particular focus on consents and site-based delivery. Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring works comply with environmental regulations, project requirements and codes of practice - Coordinating and managing environmental consents, ensuring conditions are understood and adhered to on site - Supporting the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) - Assisting with environmental mitigation measures and monitoring programmes - Environmental reporting and maintaining risk & opportunity registers - Working closely with site teams to embed environmental best practice into construction activities - This is a site-based role, requiring someone comfortable working independently across multiple locations About You - Strong site-based experience (essential) - Hands-on, practical approach (not consultancy-led) - Experience with environmental compliance, reporting and site delivery - Consents experience is desirable but not essential - 3+ years’ experience within environmental roles on civil engineering or infrastructure projects What’s on Offer - Salary circa £50,000 - Car allowance - Travel expenses (site-based) - Accommodation / lodge allowance where applicable - Private health-care - Strong long-term career progression opportunities within a major infrastructure environment Why Apply? - Join a nationally significant infrastructure project - Be part of a growing team with multiple hires planned - Clear progression opportunities within a large, well-established organisation - Exposure to complex, large-scale civil engineering works If you’d be open to hearing more, feel free to apply or reach out directly for a confidential conversation. |
