Job Responsibilities- Set up and operate extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic profiles and components.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to optimise performance and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on extrusion equipment to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to management promptly.
- Assist in the training of new team members and support team collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience operating extrusion machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of plastic extrusion processes and quality control standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Relevant health and safety certifications, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, are desirable.
- Technical skills in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible attitude towards shift patterns and overtime as required.
