An established, design-focused manufacturing company is entering an exciting new phase of growth, including the launch of a new business location. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a key role in supporting this next stage — bringing strong financial control, insight, and commercial awareness to the business. This is a hands-on position with real influence, working closely with senior leadership to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts in line with month-end timetables -
Analyse performance against budget, clearly explaining variances and recommending corrective actions -
Embed robust balance sheet and control account reconciliation processes to ensure fully supported trial balances -
Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes aligned with strategic objectives -
Deliver detailed financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions -
Provide monthly analysis of production efficiency and stock movements -
Prepare draft content for monthly KPI and board-level reporting -
Manage credit control and oversee company cashflow -
Liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting
About you

Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within a UK manufacturing or design-led environment -
Strong working knowledge of SAGE 200 -
Solid understanding of UK accounting standards, financial regulations, and reporting requirements -
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis -
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly -
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and methodical in approach
