| Location: United Kingdom, Fradley Sector: Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain Employment term: Temporary - Permanent Working hours: Full Time Salary range: £13-£13.25 per hour Job description Favourable day shifts (10am-6:30pm) Clean, modern & friendly environment We are currently recruiting for a number of time-served Forklift (FLT) Drivers with an in-date Counterbalance certificate from an external, accrediting body. This role is well accessible from Tamworth, Lichfield, Burton and Alrewas. This is an exciting role for a leading logistics and distribution business, that is enjoying year-on-year growth. As part of their fulfilment team, you would be utilised both on & off the MHE. As such, we require candidates who are comfortable with more physical warehouse duties; this is not a 100% forklift driving role, so please do not apply if this is your priority. As part of our FLT Driver position, your daily duties will include: - Daily operation of a Counterbalance forklift, helping to sequence pallets and load lorry trailers - Pick & pack orders using a PDT and manual order sheets - Stacking and wrapping pallets - General housekeeping of your workstation - Maintaining a fast pace of order fulfilment with your colleagues Rate of pay for this role will be £13.00- £13.25 per hour. Days of work: Monday to Friday Fixed working pattern: 10am-6:30pm Qualities desired: - Minimum 12 months experience working as an FLT Driver - Bendi / Pivot Steer experience preferable but not essential - In-date MHE certificate - Strong work ethic with a good attention to detail - Ability to build complex pallets - Good sense of humour - Benefits include internal training, staff welfare initiatives and some overtime opportunities.
