FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative (Day Shift)
Location: Shipley, BD17
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour (overtime paid after 37.5 hours)
Start: ASAP
Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm ( 8:00am - 4:00pm while on training) Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Manpower is working in partnership with a well-established printing and packaging company based in Shipley, known for its quality, innovation, and supportive working environment. We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated FLT Driver to join their friendly day shift team.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be an important part of the warehouse operation, helping to keep things running smoothly. Your duties will include forklift driving, stock handling, and general warehouse tasks, all within a safe and organised environment.
Key Responsibilities - Safely operate a forklift truck to move materials around the site - ideally Counterbalance and Reach
- Load and unload deliveries
- Build pallets and prepare goods for dispatch
- Pick and pack orders accurately
- Move stock between departments and storage areas
- Keep the warehouse clean and organised
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues
- Support with general warehouse duties when required
What We're Looking For - A valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or FLT role
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- PC skills / computer literacy (able to use systems for stock control and reporting)
- Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
