Location: Failand, Bristol
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, rota basis between approximately 7:00am and 4:30pm
Salary: Up to £26,000 depending on experience

Berkeley Scott is recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join a high-performance sports catering operation in Failand.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional catering team supporting elite athletes within a state-of-the-art training environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of busy restaurant and kitchen facilities, helping deliver over 200 nutritious meals daily.

This position would suit someone looking to develop a career in hospitality and catering, with full training available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve healthy and nutritious meals to players and staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Clean and sanitise food preparation areas, equipment, crockery and cutlery.
• Ensure restaurant and service areas remain organised, stocked and presentable.
• Replenish food stores and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with stock control and ordering processes.
• Prepare fresh produce for service.
• Maintain coffee machines and staff kitchen facilities.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and efficiently.
• Support kitchen portering duties during busy periods.
• Clean and sanitise dining and service areas before and after meal periods.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
