Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shifts)

Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting Food Service Assistants to join our team for regular weekday assignments in school kitchens and staff canteens across the Birmingham area. If you're reliable, hardworking, and passionate about food service, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading hospitality staffing agency and enjoy ongoing, flexible work Monday to Friday — no weekends or late nights required!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and service
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Follow all food safety and allergen protocols
• Work collaboratively with on-site kitchen teams

Requirements:

• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
• Food Allergy Awareness Certificate  
• Enhanced DBS Certificate
• Own vehicle – desirable, but not essential
• Previous experience in a catering or food service role is beneficial
