General Operator - Double Day Shift

Location: Swindon
Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour + 22% Shift Allowance (£16.91 per hour)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating Double Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

• Week 1: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Week 2: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

We're seeking motivated and detail-oriented General Operators to join a highly regulated cleanroom manufacturing team. The Role

As a General Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within Grade C/D cleanroom environments in accordance with GMP standards.
• Follow gowning procedures and maintain strict cleanroom practices.
• Prepare cleaning materials and carry out cleaning and sanitisation activities in line with SOPs.
• Support the transfer of materials into classified production areas.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure materials are within expiry dates.
• Operate airlocks and, following training, assist with autoclave and part washer activities.
• Carry out packaging, labelling and in-process quality checks.
• Complete all production documentation accurately and in line with Data Integrity principles.
• Report any quality, compliance, or safety concerns to management and Quality Assurance.
• Conduct environmental monitoring activities once fully trained and qualified.

Desirable Experience

• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP manufacturing experience.
• Cleanroom experience.
• Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as food, medical device, or healthcare production.
