| Assistant/Trainee General Practice Surveyor Birmingham Up to £35,000 per annum DOE Full-Time, Permanent Are you a motivated and ambitious individual looking to take your first steps into the commercial property sector? Pertemps are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected property services firm based in Birmingham, offering a fantastic opportunity for a bright and driven Assistant or Trainee Property Consultant to join their growing team. About the Opportunity: This is your chance to join a small, knowledgeable and welcoming office where you'll get hands-on exposure from the outset. You'll gain valuable, varied experience across different aspects of the property sector - with structured support and career development designed to help you progress professionally. Ideal for someone working toward professional accreditation in the field. Day-to-Day Duties: - Assisting with property inspections, reports, and transactions - Supporting lease negotiations, rental assessments, and asset reviews - Contributing to investment appraisals and planned disposals - Preparing documents, data and summaries for client presentations - Visiting properties across the UK to support ongoing project work - Working alongside experienced consultants and learning on the job What We're Looking For: - A degree or background in real estate, surveying, or property management - Keen interest in pursuing a recognised qualification or accreditation (training provided) - Strong communication and written skills - Competent IT user with the ability to produce professional reports - UK driving licence and flexibility to travel for site visits - Ideally based within commuting distance of Central Birmingham What's in it for You: - Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience - Travel Allowance: Mileage covered for business travel - Holidays: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays - Pension: Company scheme available - Development: Full mentorship and support toward professional qualifications - Culture: Supportive, experienced team with excellent opportunities for growth This is a unique opportunity to build a long-term career in property, gain exposure to a wide variety of projects, and be part of a well-established but agile firm.
