Key Responsibilities: - Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of the subject. - Teach students across key stages 3 and 4 and ensure that lessons are accessible and challenging. - Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them reach their potential. - Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum, ensuring it is current, diverse, and inclusive. - Support students in developing their geographical inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Participate in extracurricular activities and field trips to further enrich students’ geographical learning. - Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school. About You: - A qualified Geography Teacher with experience teaching at secondary school level (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent). - A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire students with your subject knowledge and enthusiasm. - Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. - A commitment to continuous professional development and learning. - A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
