Key Responsibilities:
- 
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Geography across KS3 and KS4, with potential involvement in KS5 
 
- 
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students 
 
- 
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement 
 
- 
Prepare students for GCSE exams with focused teaching, revision, and exam preparation sessions 
 
- 
Contribute to the development and planning of the Geography curriculum within the department 
 
- 
Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement 
 
- 
Uphold and implement the school's behaviour policies to maintain effective classroom management 
 
- 
Contribute to extracurricular activities, field trips, and departmental initiatives 
 
- 
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure student success and well-being 
 
 
 
Candidate Profile:
- 
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification 
 
- 
Degree in Geography or a closely related field 
 
- 
Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level 
 
- 
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education 
 
- 
Excellent communication skills and effective classroom leadership 
 
- 
Ability to differentiate lessons for a wide range of abilities and needs 
 
- 
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
