German Teacher

Job Opportunity: KS3/4 MFL German Teacher - Chatham

Start Date: September 2024 until December 2024 (every possibility that this will be extended for the right person)

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term contract

Paid to Scale: £163 - £223 per day

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘good’ Secondary School in Chatham, that are looking to recruit a German Teacher for a September 2025 start. This will be a temporary position with the potential to move into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Time – Monday to Friday.
• Teach German to KS3/4 students.
• Plan and prepare lessons that cater to all students’ needs and abilities.
• Mark and assess students' work to recap or extend learning as appropriate.
• Follow and promote the school curriculum and values.
• Pay rates in line with the teacher pay scale.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in teaching German to KS3/4 students.
• Committed team player.
• Proven track record of raising attainment.
• Positive, nurturing, and inclusive approach.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons that students can relate to.
• Current valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
