Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a large, multi-site organisation to recruit a talented Group Reporting & FPA Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, qualified accountant to join an established finance function and play a key role in group reporting, financial modelling, and supporting strategic decision-making. Our client is based in a well-connected part of central London, and the role offers hybrid working. The Role As a Group Reporting & FP&A Accountant, you will be part of the Group Finance team, working closely with FP&A to deliver insightful analysis and high-quality reporting. Your responsibilities will include: - Support the consolidation and reporting of monthly group results, ensuring accuracy, preparing adjustment journals, and delivering clear variance analysis to senior leadership. - Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting cycle, consolidating submissions, reviewing assumptions, and ensuring timelines, instructions, and outputs are delivered efficiently. - Assist with the preparation of annual and half-year reporting, including financial statements, working papers, audit support, and schedules for senior stakeholders. - Participate in projects and process improvements, including enhancements to reporting, systems, and finance processes. To be considered for this Group Reporting & FPA Accountant position, you will have/be: - Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent). - Strong technical accounting skills with experience in group consolidation. - Advanced Excel skills and confidence building/working with financial models. - Experience gained within a group or multi-site organisation. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
