An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Head Chef to lead a brigade of 8 at an iconic destination in the South West of England.

This is a high-profile role offering a salary of £60,000 plus performance-related bonuses, ideal for a passionate culinary leader who thrives in a dynamic, quality-focused environment.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering food and service to a consistently high standard, taking full leadership of the kitchen brigade, ensuring seamless daily operations and maintaining the integrity of the seasonal menu offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a brigade of 8 chefs

• Maintain and develop the exceptional food quality and presentation standards

• Train, mentor and develop the team

• Effective communication with key departments is paramount to this roles' ongoing success

• Continue to develop relationships with suppliers and manage stock levels

• Control food costs and minimise waste

• Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance standards

• Deliver smooth daily service in a calm and organized manner

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing teams within a professional kitchen

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• Proactive, takes initiative and leads by example

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise

• Supportive team player with a hands-on approach

• Excellent attention to detail and record keeping

• Flexible and willing to work in line with the needs of the business
