We are looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a stunning venue in the Taunton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative chef who wants full ownership of the menu and the chance to make their mark in a beautiful setting. 

The Role
You will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, creating high-quality seasonal dishes, and delivering an outstanding dining experience for guests. The venue has a great reputation and is looking for a Head Chef who can take it to the next level. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who values creativity, balance, and a high quality of life. The restaurant is closed at lunchtimes from Monday to Thursday, meaning your core working hours will predominantly be evening-based, offering a more structured and predictable shift pattern.

£45,000 + TIPS

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• Passion for fresh produce 
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
• Produce dishes that balance comfort with finesse - modern interpretations that remain grounded in classic methods.
