We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an exciting and distinctive eastern European restaurant concept in the heart of Central London, just moments from Berkeley Square.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Senior Head Chef to take the lead in a busy, high-energy kitchen and play a key role in bringing authentic cuisine to one of London’s most prestigious dining destinations.

Founded by two hospitality professionals with a genuine passion for this beautiful country, the restaurant has been shaped by their travels —  discovering traditional recipes, local produce, winemaking and the stories behind the food.

Their vision is simple: to showcase the depth, generosity and character of cuisine while creating a modern London dining experience.

The Role

As Senior Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen, leading the brigade and ensuring consistently high standards across food quality, service and kitchen operations.

You will be a confident and inspiring kitchen leader, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant evening and weekend trade. You will have the culinary ability to maintain standards while also developing the team, driving consistency and supporting the continued growth of the restaurant.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the preparation and delivery of high-quality Eastern European cuisine
• Maintaining exceptional standards of food qu
• Managing food costs, GP, stock control and wastage
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
• Working closely with the senior management team on menus, specials and culinary development
• Supporting recruitment and building a strong, professional kitchen culture

About You

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef, Senior Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef who is ready to take ownership of this unique operation.

You will ideally have experience within premium restaurants, modern European, contemporary or internationally influenced cuisine, with a genuine passion for food, experinece with 'fire cooking' and a strong understanding of quality-led kitchen operations.

Most importantly, you will be:

• A confident and credible kitchen leader
• Experienced in busy, high-volume restaurant environments
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of kitchen controls
• Passionate about developing people and creating a positive kitchen culture
• Hands-on, organised and calm under pressure
• Creative, quality-focused and interested in fire cuisine and its traditions
