Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Start Time: 8:30am (on the road by 9:00am)
Finish Time: Approx. 5:00pm (early finishes still paid full day rate)

Role Overview:

We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers (18 Tonne Curtain Sider) for our client based in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity with a well-established logistics company.
Drivers will carry out business-to-business deliveries and warehouse drops across Northern Ireland, with supportive management and a steady daily schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland (typically 6-7 drops per day, max 14)

• Operate an 18T curtain-sider vehicle with pallet truck supplied

• Ensure all deliveries are handled safely and efficiently

• Offload pallets at delivery points - some sites have forklift support

• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism

• On Belfast routes, may return to depot for a second run (double drop)

• Support Dunnes Stores contract as required - may involve breaking pallets into individual commodities

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

• CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience

• Strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland

• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
