Job Description
Pertemps is actively recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver for a role in the Carberry (Dalkeith/Musselburgh) area of Scotland. This role involve waste management operations, driving a bin lorry.

 

Job Details

 

- Role: Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver
- Location:  Carberry/Musselburgh, EH21 8PZ
- Pay Rate: Approximately £14.04 to £14.63 per hour, with overtime often available at time and a half.
- Hours: Typically 40 hours per week, with regular 07:00 AM starts, generally Monday to Friday.
- Contract Type: Temporary ongoing, with potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates.

 

 

Requirements

- A valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV license.
- A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card.
- A valid Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience in waste management or multi-drop delivery is beneficial but often not essential.
- Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply and will receive support.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-conscious attitude are key.
