We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Shunter Driver to support a busy operation in Halifax (HX3) on a 3-week temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Driver looking for short-term work with an attractive hourly rate and all hours paid, including breaks.

Working Hours- Day Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00
- Night Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
- 12 hours paid per shift
Shift Pattern
Week 1
- Mon 13th - Day
- Tue 14th - Day
- Wed 15th - Day
- Thu 16th - Night
- Fri 17th - Night
Week 2
- Thu 23rd - Day
- Fri 24th - Day
Week 3
- Mon 27th - Night
- Tue 28th - Night
- Wed 29th - Night
Duties- Yard shunting and trailer movements
- Moving vehicles safely around site
- Trailer allocation and repositioning
- Liaising with transport and warehouse teams
- Completing vehicle safety checks
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Requirements- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous shunting experience preferred
- Good understanding of site safety procedures
- Reliable and available for the full contract duration
