Job Description
We are currently seeking an HGV Technician to work late shifts on behalf of our Client, an Automotive commercial dealership based in the Croydon area.

The successful HGV Technician can expect a salary of up to £47,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 with working hours being, Monday to Friday (13:30 - 22:00) and alternate Saturdays (06:00 - 14:30), paid as overtime.

Our client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position, and our client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Duties:

- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
- Ability to independently diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and select appropriate repair techniques
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance and repair on trucks and vehicle components
- Familiarity with MOT procedures, tachograph checks, and vehicle inspections
- Possession of a full UK driving licence (HGV preferred but not essential)
- Own tools and a proactive, responsible attitude toward vehicle repair and maintenance
