Start Date: September 2025
Location: Thanet, Kent
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £95–£110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Thanet that is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to support learning at a higher level and make a meaningful difference in a supportive and child-centred school environment.

About the Role:

• Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher across KS1 and KS2

• Support class teachers with planning, preparation and assessment

• Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions

• Contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment

• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• HLTA status or equivalent experience

• Experience working within a primary school setting

• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum

• Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills

• A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude
