Hours: Full Time, Permanent, Monday – Friday (42.5 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 per annum (DOE)
Are you a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a passion for customer service? Join our busy and growing team in Bathgate as a Hire Desk Controller and play a key role in coordinating equipment hire across our network.
What You'll Do:
- Handle incoming enquiries and orders from customers - Coordinate hire and delivery of equipment efficiently - Liaise with drivers, workshop teams, and depots to ensure smooth operations - Build and maintain great relationships with clients and suppliers - Maintain accurate hire records and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a hire desk or customer service role (plant/tool hire ideal) - Excellent communication and multitasking skills - Strong IT skills and attention to detail - A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
