Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience) About the Role:
A secondary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join its Humanities department from January. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4, inspiring pupils to develop a love of history and preparing them for GCSE success. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons
- Plan and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
- Support pupils of all abilities, including SEN and EAL
- Contribute to Humanities enrichment activities and school events
Requirements:
- QTS and experience teaching History to KS3/KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for History
- Ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in pupils
