Pay: £130 – £350 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to work in secondary schools in Peacehaven. Whether you're an experienced History Teacher or an ECT, we offer flexible roles to match your availability and support your professional journey. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Inspire students to explore historical events, people, and themes through critical thinking and analysis
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, debate, and respect
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Plan lessons in line with curriculum objectives and school expectations
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and other teaching staff
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a History or Humanities specialism
- Experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 required; KS5 desirable)
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for History and education
- A current, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
