Contract: Full Time, January Start

Salary: £168 - £223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across KS3–KS5, tailored to diverse learning styles
• Foster critical thinking and debate, encouraging students to connect historical events with modern contexts
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as history clubs, trips, or themed events
• Collaborate with colleagues to continually enhance teaching strategies and resources

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
• Strong subject knowledge in History, with the ability to teach up to A-Level
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A creative approach to lesson planning, making history engaging and accessible
• Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and teamwork
