Salary: £100–£130 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Aylesbury, seeking a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start as soon as possible. This full-time role provides an exciting opportunity to support students across the school and deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2

• Support individual students and small groups to ensure effective learning

• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to adjust lessons for diverse learning needs

• Provide pastoral care and manage classroom behaviour in a positive way

• Contribute to maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Candidate Requirements

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a classroom setting

• Previous experience in a primary school environment

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress

• A passion for education and child development
