A welcoming primary school in Watford is seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from January 2026. This role is perfect for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about enhancing pupils’ learning, confidence, and personal development in a structured and nurturing environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified HLTA or strong equivalent school-based experience

• Passion for supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development

• Confident classroom management and excellent organisational skills

• Ability to assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• A reliable communicator and strong team player

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers with planning and delivering high-quality lessons

• Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning

• Help track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback

• Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional wellbeing

• Take part in school events, meetings, and wider school activities
