| Hotel Maintenance Engineer – Paddington – 45K I am currently representing an excellent mechanical company who are in need of a static Hotel Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on a Hotel within Paddington. The position is due to sheer growth within the company who provide projects, service & maintenance contracts to a variety of gas, A/C, heating and mechanical services to high end commercial & residential clients. PACKAGE: - up to 45K basic - 24 days holiday + bank - Company Pension Scheme - Healthcare scheme after qualification period - Training on Manufacturers kit - Progression within the company Role Overview The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of all mechanical systems across the hotel, with a focus on climate control equipment such as AHUs and FCUs. The role involves planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, troubleshooting, and ensuring all systems meet health, safety, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities - Carry out scheduled PPMs on all mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves, and HVAC systems - Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults efficiently - Monitor and maintain mechanical plant rooms and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity - Work closely with contractors and external service providers when required - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including job logs and equipment condition reports - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal hotel procedures - Assist with energy-saving initiatives and building management system (BMS) monitoring - Support other members of the engineering team as needed to maintain overall hotel functionality If you feel you would be well suited for the role, please send your up-to-date CV. |
