HR Advisors (POD Specialist) Hybrid - Forfar (with travel across Angus area) Temporary - 1 post until March 2026, 1 post until August 2026 £22.36 per hour | Full-time, 36.25 hrs per week | Monday to Friday Our public sector client is seeking two experienced HR Advisors to join their People & OD team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the organisation. Main Purpose of the Role: To deliver a comprehensive HR advisory service, providing professional support, guidance, and expertise on all HR matters, in line with employment legislation, organisational policies, and best practice. Key Responsibilities: - Advise and support managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conditions of service (local and national) - Provide case management support, including investigations, hearings, and complex employee relations matters - Partner with managers to address issues such as absence, conduct, performance, and grievance cases - Contribute to the delivery of organisational development, resourcing, talent management, and employee experience initiatives - Ensure compliance with employment law, codes of practice, and internal policies - Promote best practice, positive employee relations, and organisational effectiveness Essential Skills & Experience: - CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered CIPD Membership - Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice - Proven experience as a generalist HR professional, supporting managers on complex HR cases - Experience across multiple HR functions (e.g. OD, employee relations, resourcing, talent management) - Proficiency in HR systems and digital tools, with strong MS Office skills - Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal consultancy skills - Strong problem-solving ability with resilience in handling conflict and sensitive situations - High standards of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability - Effective organisational and time management skills - Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel across sites If this sounds like the next challenge you are looking for to further your HR career, apply now with your up-to-date CV. |
