| HR Consultant (Temporary Role) Duration: 4 months Pay: £21.51 per hour (PAYE) Location: Remote Start Date: ASAP (subject to security checks) Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week An established insurance group is on the lookout for a skilled HR Consultant to join their team on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced environment while working remotely. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert Employee Relations (ER) advice and coaching to line managers and business leads, ensuring adherence to HR policies and guidance. - Stay informed on the latest case law and best practices to educate and empower line managers in managing ER cases effectively. - Offer guidance to employees on HR policies and processes when required. - Manage people-related issues with efficiency and timeliness. - Foster positive, collaborative relationships across departments and with managers. What We’re Looking For: - Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations. - Familiarity with HR interventions and tools, and their practical application. - CIPD qualification (or working towards it). - Exceptional communication skills across various mediums. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative. - Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Proven influencing skills to support the implementation of robust ER processes, reducing risk while enhancing the colleague experience. - Solid decision-making abilities, balancing analysis, experience, and perspective to make timely, informed choices.
