HR Advisor – 3 Month FTC Location: Hybrid (Bristol & surrounding areas) Contract: 3 months fixed-term Start Date: Immediate Travel: Occasional travel to education sites (Bristol, Somerset, Gloucester, Dorset, Devon) – mileage allowance provided We’re currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a dynamic team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, providing high-quality HR support across a range of education sites in and around the South West. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multiple TUPE consultation processes -
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of Employee Relations (ER) matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management -
Coach and support line managers in the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures -
Deliver practical and engaging HR training sessions (e.g. managing investigations, handling grievances) -
Ensure consistent and legally compliant HR practices are followed across all sites
Person Specification:
-
Previous experience in a HR Advisor role, ideally within the education sector -
Strong working knowledge of TUPE legislation and hands-on experience managing ER casework -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels -
Confident in working independently and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice
Working Arrangements:

Hybrid working model – predominantly remote with travel to sites across the South West as needed -
Travel includes visits to sites in Bristol, Somerset, Gloucester, Dorset, and occasional presence in Devon -
Mileage allowance provided for all work-related travel
