With over 230 specialists across multiple UK offices, they deliver exemplar engineering solutions across healthcare, education, commercial and industrial sectors. Sustainability is at the core of everything they do, and they're committed to raising global standards in MEP engineering whilst designing better spaces for the world.

THE ROLE

You'll work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects, gaining exposure across healthcare, education, commercial and industrial sectors — with genuine mentorship and a clear path to Chartered status.

This is an excellent opportunity to build on your technical foundation, take on greater responsibility, and contribute to landmark projects that make a real difference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop detailed design packages using CAD and BIM (Revit MEP) through all RIBA stages
- Carry out electrical load calculations, cable sizing and basic protection coordination studies
- Incorporate low carbon electrical solutions including EV infrastructure, PV systems and smart building technology into designs
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers and other design team members to coordinate electrical services
- Attend design team and client meetings, contributing technical input and supporting project delivery
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, schedules of equipment and specifications
- Support senior engineers on complex projects and take ownership of smaller schemes independently
- Maintain awareness of current Building Regulations, IET Wiring Regulations, and relevant industry standards and best practice
- Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with structured support, mentorship and CPD funding

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- MEng or BEng degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- 2–5 years' experience in electrical building services design
- Experience with LV power, lighting, and/or fire alarm/security systems
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
- Working knowledge of BIM/Revit MEP (or willingness to learn)
- Understanding of IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and Building Regulations
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

- Working towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
- Experience across multiple project sectors (healthcare, education, commercial, industrial)
- Knowledge of low carbon electrical systems (EV infrastructure, PV, battery storage)
- Familiarity with electrical design software (Amtech, Dialux, Relux or similar)

WHAT'S ON OFFER

- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
- Chartered status support and professional membership funding
- Sustainability-led, purpose-driven culture
- Varied, landmark project portfolio
- Strong mentorship and structured CPD programme
- Career progression opportunities within a growing consultancy
