This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with sales experience in the construction supply sector who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Salary & Benefits: - £35,000 per year - Permanent, full-time position - Career progression within a leading builders’ merchant - Supportive team environment and training opportunities - Company benefits package Key Responsibilities: - Handling incoming sales enquiries and providing product advice - Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers - Preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up to close sales - Proactively contacting customers to generate new business - Supporting the external sales team with leads and account management - Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times - Maintaining accurate sales records and using CRM systems effectively Requirements: - Proven internal sales experience, ideally within a builders’ merchant or construction supply environment - Strong product knowledge of building materials and related products - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships - Organised, proactive, and able to work in a busy sales office - IT literate with experience using CRM/order management systems |
