Kitchen Assistant - Italian Wine Bar - Northallerton 

• £13.50 to £14.50 per hour depending on experience
• Over 40 hours per week, permanent full time position

• Small close knit kitchen team

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join the team at a well established Italian wine bar in Northallerton. As Kitchen Assistant you will support the kitchen team through service, keeping the section stocked, assisting with basic food preparation and making sure the kitchen runs cleanly and efficiently throughout the day.

The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for washing down, keeping all areas clean and tidy in line with food safety standards, assisting with deliveries and supporting the chefs wherever needed. Previous kitchen experience is useful but attitude matters more, so this is a good Kitchen Assistant role for someone who wants to learn and work their way up in a kitchen.

The ideal Kitchen Assistant will be punctual, happy working at pace and comfortable as part of a small team of 3 to 4. Full training will be provided.
