Opportunity for an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to join a growing Alcester based Manufacturing business.
The role:
- Set up and operate CNC lasers in line with procedures and job card instructions - Read and understand CNC code to the required level for machine set up and operation - Adjust and control set-up parameters to ensure efficient and accurate output - Use air tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment safely - Carry out in-process inspections to ensure components meet quality standards - Support root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and 5S activities
What we're looking for:
- 1-2 years' experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment - Ability to read CNC code and work to quality/manufacturing standards - Strong attention to detail and "right first time" approach - Positive, proactive attitude with good teamwork skills - Self-motivated, disciplined, and willing to coach colleagues as needed
