Learning Support Assistant – SEND School in Medway

Full-Time – Long-Term Role (ASAP Start)
Daily Pay Rate: £100 - £105

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
Are you looking for a full-time, long-term role in a truly inspiring and inclusive SEND school?

Supply Desk are working closely with a fantastic specialist school in Medway that caters for students with a range of special educational needs, with a particular focus on ASD. The school supports children across both primary and secondary age groups, providing a nurturing, structured, and highly personalised learning environment.

They are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to go permanent.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Autism and associated learning needs
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities that meet each student’s individual goals
  • Help create a calm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent support for every student
  • Support students with communication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation
  • Contribute to personalised learning plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday – term-time only
  • Based in Medway
